Hello and Welcome!

Welcome to my new blog, Illuminated Souls, a blog with spirit!  I named this blog Illuminated Souls because:

1) I have several photos I’ve taken over the past few years that contain what I believe are images of spirits and/or spirit orbs.  I thought it would be fun to share these photos and to get your opinions on them.  I’m not 100% convinced that the “orbs” are balls of spirit energy and not light reflecting off dust, as many skeptics believe, but I’m going to include them, because some of these orbs are pretty darned bright, and there are so many of them in several separate photos.  I took the pictures with my little aim & shoot digital camera, nothing special.

2) I feel that the other topics I want to share, including my experiences with psychic mediumship and spiritual healing easily fit under the subject of illuminated souls, as many souls of those in spirit have been illuminated before me while giving someone a reading.  And as for the spiritual healing, I like to think that my spirit guides are illuminating the souls of the folks who sit before my healing group as the loving energy passes through our hands and into the auras and physical bodies of those asking for healing.

The photo posted in the header of my blog is one I took in the fall of 2012 while on the underground tour of Portland, Oregon with my family.  Orbs or dust?  Some orbs, some dust?  What do you think? [Originally I had stated that the photo was taken in Seattle, but it was actually taken on the Portland tour.]

I believe that most of you who came across my blog probably found yourselves here because you have similar interests and beliefs as mine or are at least curious about subjects pertaining to the soul.  However, if you happen to have found yourself here despite your skepticism of such subjects, please know that I am not here to try to convince anyone of anything.  I’m only here because I want to share my true life experiences.  In fact, prior to about four years ago, I was probably as big a skeptic as they come!  I didn’t believe in anything I couldn’t see in front of me and that didn’t make logical sense.   My belief was that when we died, our bodies were buried or cremated and that was the end of the road.  Nothing else, that’s it, just a memory to our family and friends left behind, never to be seen or heard from again.  That’s exactly what I thought for a long time….

…..Until I started to pay attention to the very subtle at first, interesting synchronicities that I started to experience.

Most of all, I want this to be a fun page!  I try not to take life too seriously – at least not this life!  Thank you for stopping by my new digs, and I hope you’ll come back and visit again.  Someone has to listen to my stories, because I’ve run out of people offline to tell who want to hear them.  🙂
